Narguess’s Pick – Oeuf New York – Eco Furniture for Hong Kong
At all petit bazaar* boutiques we have more than thousand products ranging from children’s wear to home furnishing and many of these products have great stories and values behind it, so here we invite petit bazaar*’s founder and owner Mrs. Narguess Sousi to pick a brand and talk about their story.
Oeuf (pronounced UH-F, means egg in French) owns by this French – American couple Sophie Demenge and Michael Ryan. Oeuf concept was born in 2002 when Sophie was pregnant with their second child and while they were preparing the nursery for their baby they struggled to find good quality furniture that is simple and at affordable price. Since they are already producing furniture at their factory in Brookelyn New York, they decided to launch the children’s collection and called it “Oeuf”.
While they were designing the Ouef collection the ‘green apporach’ came naturally as they view their collection from any parent’s point of view. The design has to be simple, clean and intuitive, with a safe and simple use, of course quality manufacture using natural, renewable and recyclable materials that is not only good for the children but also good for the environment.

Moreover, at Oeuf they are famous for their ‘BE GOOD’ attitude, they are proud of their brand but they also pay great respect to those behind them to make it all happen.

All Oeuf furniture presented here above are made in Latvia, a nation with strong woodworking heritage, from locally sourced wood. Finishes are non-toxi and water based, free of VOC health hazards. Made in a Forest Stewardship Certified facility. Wood Wastes and finishing materials are recycled. Packaged in recycled cardboard.
